Hi, I’m Jessica! I’ve spent the past two decades helping organizations bring order to chaos—whether that means building strategic marketing operations, supporting executive leadership, or optimizing processes to make teams more effective.
I’ve had the privilege of working with major brands like Verizon, Bud Light, Burger King, and the U.S. Army, leading high-impact marketing and business transformation initiatives. My work has ranged from managing $40M in government contracts to helping Lindenwood University increase student enrollment by 9%. But beyond the numbers and big-name clients, what truly drives me is helping organizations function better so their people can thrive.
That’s why I founded The Hummingbird Group—to bring a flexible, strategic, and human-centered approach to business and nonprofit leadership. Whether I’m advising on organizational growth, guiding a team through change, or simply helping leaders clarify their next step, my goal is always the same: to create sustainable solutions that make a lasting impact.

The Story Behind The Hummingbird
For me, the hummingbird isn’t just a symbol of agility, resilience, and strength, it’s deeply personal. Growing up, my father and I would sit together at the kitchen table, watching hummingbirds flit between the feeders he had carefully placed outside. It was our quiet ritual, a moment of connection and wonder. Long after he passed, hummingbirds remained a source of inspiration. And they continue to be a reminder that even the smallest beings can do incredible things.
That belief is woven into the foundation of The Hummingbird Group. Like the hummingbird, businesses and organizations must be nimble yet purposeful, capable of moving in any direction to adapt, grow, and thrive. Just as my father and I marveled at the precision and beauty of these tiny creatures, I bring that same appreciation for careful strategy, dynamic movement, and meaningful transformation to my work.
